01
What is a dental implant?
An implant is a small titanium post placed surgically into the jawbone. Over a few months it integrates with the bone, a process called osseointegration, and is then restored with a custom crown. The result restores chewing, speech, and the look of a natural tooth.
02
Why an implant, rather than a bridge or denture?
Unlike removable dentures, implants are fixed. They stop the slow loss of jawbone that follows a missing tooth, do not require adhesives, and place no burden on the neighboring teeth.
03
The options we offer
Single implants for one missing tooth, multiple implants for several, All-on-4 for a complete arch placed in a single day, and mini implants for patients with limited bone.
04
The process
Placement takes one to two hours, followed by a healing period. Final crown placement is one to two further visits. All-on-4 is a same-day restoration of an entire arch.
05
Candidacy & cost
Most healthy adults are candidates. Certain conditions, active gum disease, uncontrolled diabetes, current chemotherapy, may need to be addressed first. Pricing varies with the plan; financing is available.
Insurance & financing
We are in-network with Aetna, Delta Dental, Guardian, Humana, and offer payment plans through CareCredit, Lending Club, Cherry. You receive written pricing as part of your treatment plan.
